pool filter hose

Does anyone use it? Wondering if it is safe for aquarium fish? I would like to have flexible hose going to the sump.

Every one that I have seen, (I've gone thru many in 30yrs of glorious pool ownership) have ever said they were treated, so unless it says it on yours, you should be good to go.

Home depot has flex hose by the foot if your interested too.

I had to get pool flex hose. Being 1 1/4" vynil tubing is a basterd size I didnt want to order it online and no hardware or plumbing shop had it in town. So pool hose it was.

The pool hose I saw is at Home Depot. Maybe it's the same as pool flex hose, blue with white ribs? The vinyl hose there is so darn stiff I don't think I can get it to go in the right direction.

Yeah sounds like the same stuff. I havent had a problem with the clear tubing, its what my whole tank is plumbed with.

Just take into account the weight of the water in it, so it doesn't sag & slow down flow. You may just have to support it a little.
