My male would swim up and down glass and I found pfs was wearing/ injuring his claspers. I also found it would leave fine scratches on my catfish, rtc and tsn, occasionally if they had a dart in the sand- the pfs seemed smooth but really wasn't. I like the look of pfs but I wouldn rate it on functionality, at least in my setup..... Otherwise up to personal choice
