i like the kinda grey colour to the sand in this pic, dont really like the super white sand, its the colour always the same?

hey ecoli73 i really like your set up, i wanna do something similar with the tree roots in the corner, what size tank is that? also what is the vine u have growing from the top of your tank?

The tank is 300 tall 96"*30"*24, they are only porthos growing...I will take a month vacation and those should help a little with the nitrates

cool, are pothos easy to get hold of? did u just clean off all the dirt from the roots and hang the roots in the tank? any special care they need?

Yes a $5 pot from lowes give about 6 or 7 different plant or more. The hardest thing is to untangle the roots and wash all the soil away.
