Quickcrete also has a 60 pound bag of earth colored sand at homedepot for 5 bucks. A buddy of mine put some in his bowfront

Im Currently using PFS in all my grow out tanks But was think about switching to BDS to see what the Tanks Would Look Like the darker the substrate the darker the colors of your fish the lighter color the lighter they will be IME with differnt substrates/backgrounds... never used BDS but i kno the PFS will not get sucked up in a siphon during a water change so go with what u think u would like... kinda leaning toward Salt/Pepper since seeing it..
