pool filter sand

Anyone know where i can get a sand redish in color? I saw it in a couple tanks. Looks good.

is sand better than gravel for a piranha tank?

The best place to get pool filter sand is a pool store
pool sand is coarser than play sand and allot cleaner
In my area i have found that Seasonal pool has white quartz sand and Namco has a more natural color sand it is about 5 bucks for 50 lbs at both stores

I redid my daughters 10 gallon today. Friggin' snails! I went from gravel to pool filter sand. Mine only took 2 rinses to get clean. I only have "new tank" cloudy, not "dirty sand" cloudy.
