yea bro... i bought my PFS and it only took about 5 washes per half 5 gallon bucket.... you definitely didn't wash.... lol PFS rocks!! when cleaning or moving i can stir it up as hard as i can and it doesn't cloud... just drops straight down to the bottom..... that sucks you didn't wash it!!

What color is the sand tho?

Sorry..It's white with a little black peppered in here and there. It's heavy also, you can stir it and it settles right back without clouding the water. Believe I gave about $5 for a 50 lb bag at Lowes.

lol its a pain in the *** to wash it. i didnt wash it enough haha but now my tank is pretty clear since i replaced all my filter media. i swear once i put the sand in there i couldnt see nothing in my tank. it looked like i hotboxed my tank lol

how did you wash it? for future do half the bag in a 5 gallon bucket and just run the hose... it's quick!!

Yep, a 5g bucket and just a garden hose makes for a great way to wash gravel, sand, w/e. Quick and easy
