Pool Filter ???

Just bout a BaquaPure Pool/Sand Filter Combo with pump & wanted to kno if the Sand(PFS) as Media would be better to use for Biological Filtration For my 2500 indoor pond or should i use the Xtra Xtreme Bio-Filter (plastic)Media that i have left over from my Xtreme ST1600 Bio Filter.. Pond is Gonna Hold 6 Big Cats all over 24"s, 4 Tigerfish all over 14", 3 PBass10-14", 2 14" Royal Clownknifes if anyone was interested in Bio Load...

keep the sand in there it more square cm than plastic media.

Anyone Else? Sand Vs. Media Ive heard that sand is Best But see alot of people using media in the pool Filter...

Sand will clog and compress into a solid block. Does not work the same as on a pool with chlorine.

So best bet is to go with Media instead of sand?
