Pool filtration setup?

Got all the hardware, cutting the light grate to size 9 3/4 . No dam pet stores had huge course padding so i got 2 packets of blue crap, it will do for now. IM waiting for a auger bit or whatever it is to fit inside the 1 3/4 hole saw ( had to go to 2 dam stores to find it!)

We will see how far I get tonight

ran out of pipe 8' wasnt enough man this crap is a headache. I have the bulkheads in, unions, and valves. Also the drain valve for when I do water changes. I need to spend another $2 and get another 1" section looks like to be continued tmw if I get home in time before they close. Cousin is leaving for national guard so I am told I HAVE to go. Then I need to figure out how to support the pipe. I made a quick "canopy over 3' of the pool so I might have to fab up some holders then to. Why do I do these projects!
