Would a decent pool liner be acceptable for a pond liner? Helping a friend replace his pool liner, and I figured I'd use the old pool liner to start my new backyard pond. Is that even possible, or is the pool liner too fragile?

I think if its JUST a liner, it would be okay? But not if you were putting it in the ground/wood build and expecting it to flex
What do you mean, if it's JUST the liner? It's going into a hole in the ground. I'll be putting carpet in the hole, then the pool liner above it. Do you not think that will work?
like ... lining a pool or preformed stock tank. IT might not be heavy enough ... How thick is it?
