Pool Sand Filters

Well since I added one like yours my tanks have never been better. But looking at the flow rates I think I have to much flow to mine. I'm running the return of one of my fx5s. It's working but maybe it could work better.

I want to say those where Aqua Logic sandfilters that I got through Aquatic Eco back then.

u tend to lean towards sand filters more then anything else?
 
On big systems, yes. They do a great job for mechanical on large volumes of water, they don't take a lot of time to care for and they are cost effective in the long run.
 
wht was used for bio? the other tall blue dudes in the back of this pic?

Biotowers were up above, next to the exhibits. Basic bioballs, just a much bigger scale, towers were about 15' tall and 5'x8' wide.
In the background, you're seeing two ozone skids from DEL (one per system).
