Pool?

That will make an excellent summer (unless you insulate the sides) pond. Dechlor it and re-test in a week to make should the chlorine isn't impregnated in the liner. You'll have to get some biological filtration going. That won't be much of a problem tho. A large W/D will be easy to make< maybe with a waterfall return.

What do you want to stock in it? If it's a summer only pond you'll need a place to winter the fish.

If you want to make it a year 'round pond, dig a hole and bury it, you need to at least go past the frost line, then use the excess dirt to berm around the top half to help insulate it.

I just bought one today, not for fish but for my daughter. I am thinking of buying another though just to keep as an emergency tank.

Ya, right... did that really work on your wife?(good for you!)

I'd try that ploy, but I'm afraid my DW would have a heart attack form laughing too hard!:ROFL:

I've finally gotten her to just ignore my stuff and I'm not going to all the trouble to train another one.

Varies place to place, call your local Agricultural extension office or a cement contractor would know too.
