i would like to turn somthing like this into a pond.it will be in a closed are a garage.how do i heat and filter somthing like this.im thinking about keeping somthing like a gator gar or somthing in it.also any sugestions on things to put in there(what would you do).

Look into bead filters or very large W/D. Either with a large refugium will work.

Solar or gas powered heater is most economical, something from a pool or jacussi. Insulate and heat garage it's easier and cheaper than just trying to keep water temp. up. You may need a dehumidifier too.

Stocking preference is dependent on your feed budget.

Shy away from large suckers and sharp fins.
