So I went to a little lfs by my house the other day (and today actually but the pics from the other day...) And was excited when I walked in and saw they had large RTC's.
But as I got closer, I was quickly appalled at the condition they were in. They were horrid! I felt so bad for the poor things... they were all fungusy and sad looking :( But at $150 each... I can't really help em...

It's a shame it took the previous owner(s) that long to figure out they could not house them. Terrible!

thats seriously ****** up!
What size tanks were they in?

We don't know what the reason for this is, perhaps it's the death of the owner and noone else knew about them or something like that... Simply horrible condition though... those burns are serious
The LFS will be hard pressed to make their money back on these guys which is horrible they should be willing to negotiate down to almost nothing since these guys are in such horrible condition and no one will buy them for along time (means that they will have alot of money tied up in feeding them)

The LFS should move those fish to a hospital tank off of the floor. I would be hesitent to purchase fish at a store that had a fish looking like that for sale. That RTC desperately needs help fast or is doomed.

They'd be better off offering them for free, or as low as $50. I'd pick him up and try to help him out for $50. Going to take a while for that guy to be normal again. It's not impossible, and it could be rather quick for someone who knows what they are doing. Poor guy though! Come to necro!!!
