I use prazi on my Discus. If you think you have a bacteria issue, then go with Metro or other appropriate ABX.

I dont really 'think' my rays have any thing, but being fresh imports and the fact Im getting a very expensive ray next week, I figure it wouldnt hurt to treat to be on the safe side.

might a be a good ideal anyway to Q the new ray in a different tank.....

from what i know is prazi is pretty safe and i never used it orally so you might look at the instructions if you decide to dose. i am jealous . two marbles now what are you waiting for? good luck

Gr8, the eraser coloration analogy hits the nail square on the head! Yeah I need to change my avatar...sucks cause now I have no one to vote for...Mccain is no better then Billary or Osama. BTW my wife HATES your avatar. It actually really scares her! lol

Show her my new signature! :D

Actually since Ive dosed with prazi I have noticed a big difference in the feces. The white stringy material I was noticing before is now non existant in the feces. The male has yet to come out and still stays buried, but I think he is eating as he is not getting skinnier. The female has put on and keeps on some good weight (not that she was skinny before, she is just bigger in the 'hips' now).

Healthy crap to me are the ones which are spiral shaped anddark in color.

If you want to clean out a newly imported ray on the inside, I'd suggest Panacur. Make sure it's eating first.... as panacur use tends to knock down feeding behavior a little. but it does good job on internal parasites and doesn't stress out the animal too much.
