Yes, they are genetically close to aros. Are they mouth brooder too?. When I saw them in lfs, they are motionless fish, not move constantly as aros. Also unlike aros, they seem to be peaceful to one another.To be honest if you changed their fins a bit then they could pass for an arowana.

That is a really cool pattern. Are you sure that's a golden wonder killi?Mine's eaten baby guppies, crickets, ghost shrimp, small worms, and insect larvae. Like arowanas, the best food for them is insects as that is their natural diet, albeit they should have a mixed diet, but I think that's the best staple for them
