I WOULD AGREE TRY SALT FIRST BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE EASY AND IT WILL USUALY WORK NOT TO MENTION TRY NATURAL REMIDIES BEFORE CHEMICALS
 
Wow, hope he gets better. If he has any tank-mates, either move them or move him. Turn the temp up to at least 80 degrees, do several water changes, add some Pimafix, a bit of salt, and hope for the best!
