Popped that Bichir cherry!

Very nice poly you've got there, I can't wait for mine to grow up. I took him out of quarantine and put him in the tank. The little guy has quite the appetite! Here are some pictures.
Definitly bigger then 2 inches, I'd say 3-4 inches which is a healthy selling size. The one I got was about 1.75 inches, now that's small! Anyways, good looking Sen, hope he gets big for you!
Not quite that big, my camera was zoomed in, and the plants in the background are hornwort if that gives any size reference. About how long did it take to notice some growth in yours?
Pretty quick, they grow quite fast when young. With a good diet yours should be growing at about an inch a month. My delhizi has really shot up though, went from 3 inches to 6 inches in 2 months.
Are you feeding anything special? I obviously haven't had mine long, but as seen in the pictures he seems to take quite well to the Tetra Brine Shrimp jelly.
I prefer a high quality pellet such as NLS as a staple, and frozen foods such as blood worms, and also live earthworms as a treat.
I also feed tubiflex worms and frozen blood worms, but my other fish inhale it before it has a chance to reach the bottom.
