popping the kok?

hey i heard that if you cram a fh in like a 30, it will stress and the kok will pop. is this true? have any of you guys tried this?

Cramming a FH into a small tank will make it stressed, which will shrink it's kok.

A 30g is impractical for one full grown FH long-term.

a tall tank is the trick for head growth. the taller the better. 3ft long and 12in width is minimum footprint for smaller fh's. A good variety of food and clean water with a ph of at least 7.5 or higher is best.

that is what i have heard too. higher ph is supposed to help kok growth. i don't care about kok so i haven't tried it.
