Poret foam

I have some cutoffs from the poret foam I bought at auction,using them in aquaclear filters that the sponges wore out in.Work great.Only drawback is the price.
In my sumps Im using material from floor buffer pads.A local company die cuts the pads, I get the stuff for free raiding thier dumpster.

one lfs in winnipeg filters their whole store with poret foam and the lift tube that u see on swiss tropical. I myself just bought some 3 inch 30ppi and some 4 inch 10ppi that he had as a cut off for 39 bucks. Going to use it in my fx5 inplace of the foam that came with it and in my aqua clears
