O.K. ladies and gents, pull up a chair and have a seat...
i got the acrylic today and im going to start the work saterday or sunday. the sheets that i got are;
9.5mm thick, 24" X 36".
9.5mm thick 8" tall X 96" long.
total cost is $120 i got 3/8 because it will look alot better then say 1/8 which is alot cheaper, 1/8 is the thicknes that i would have needed to make it work but why do something if its not bomb proof...
the idea is this, a oddly shapped enclosure to house a rainbow crab, with a water plant of somekind some bamboo a pool about 6"X8" X 4" tall with a waterfall, and full of sand rocks and drift wood...
the plan is to cut two pieces of ply wood the shape of the parimiter, then abpout 50 2X2's 8" tall and screw them together to form the general shape that i want, then bend the 96" long piece around the jig while heating it up with a heatgun... sounds complicated eh?
it will be a sweet zen garden when done.
