bending acryic, yes... and if i dont like it im gonna put a top on it and put in a few Black ghost knives....

but i just happen to like the crabs, they are pretty cool IMO well with a blue lobster or two...

Edit: how did your wood pond turn out??? it been a while since i was on here.
doesnt bending it make it hazy?from the heat or something?

you have crabs now or your going to go get crabs?lol :grinno:

my pond, well, that got bumped down the list.
been working on my 240 and other things.
hopefully in the next few months i will finish all my projects and try to slow down on things for a bit.lol

hahahaha thats a good one finish all your projects... thats a good one.... i have like 20 going right now and not one is done...

it only gets hazzy if you add too much heat, it then bubbles inside, or if you dont apply enough heat and force it it will cause millions of little stress cracks... not good.

and no i dont have them right now, but they are at the LFS, they have like 15 of them. i'm building this because i dont have a tank to put them in right now.

ha yah i said that like 6 months to a year ago about the pond. i'd help you with yours and you could help me with mine... but that peskie 3000miles thing... it a hard one.

well tomarow i will probly starting the bending, it will require atleast 3-4 ppl to do properly but all i have is my brother and me ;) we shall see.

ok well heres how it looks... we started with cutting out the shapes needed for the forums. then we cut a few uprights and screwed them down for bending. this was also with stuff we already hed one was a old banister, thats whe we used for the curves since it was already rounded. and a length of 2X2's...

so we tried a heater from princess auto that i bought for our shed but it wasnt hot enough. to we stopped work on it and tomarow we are going to go buy 3-4 more heatguns and stick them together...

and where its going...

wheres milkman, hed be proud...

haha yah but they are made with a strip heater... thats what im used to useing, the heatgun menthod is not new to me but newer on this scale... and no its not that big, but mostlikely it could hold 30gallons...

my original though was to make a 120gallon stingray table, all acrylic, it was going to me like 6' by 4' by 1-2'...

but i like this one, i just need MORE POWER!!!, i need more heat, a bigger section at a time.
