I wanted to but the hardware store was out so i hat to go to princess suto yesterday to pick up more heatguns. one was not enough to do the job right. so if my brother shows up today earlyer then yesterday we will continue bending. it really is a 3 person job, but the way we built the jig helps alot. so expect a update later today.

hay milkman how did those tanks work out for yah?...


also i got the acrylic from wherehouse plastics. theplasticstore.com

BTW they made the acrylic cage in x-men... they have huge wherehouses.
 
it's not time wasted if it's time spent on making sweet things for fish...lol

all the tanks are doing amazing right now, I just picked up a little project thats taken up most of my time that i really need to post pics of.

ok... i have enough heat but now i need nore brains... i melted the vinal backer. it melted too much, and stuck to the acrylic and deformed a bit...

that was about 30 min to a hour of har work that F#$@ED everything up... the bottom section of the bend melted and got too hot, it didnt bubble or anything but it did cave inwards a but and got textured by the melted vinal... its not a problem it can be fixed np... but will take work. plus there will be sand there anyway.

and my bro heating this stiff up... i was holding the panel so it wouldnt stretch or twist. the curve is compleated...

the jig is going to have to be lined in the stuff you put behind cabinets. i cant do it now as its 1:45 am and ppl are sleeping but i will do it tomarow and start bending again after work...

So another set back... and no i actuly have very little free time. i have about 1-2 hours before work then a few hours after as i go to sleep around 4am... the problem is that i cant do anything loud.
 
here is a close up of the blemish... and as you can see the bend is opticly near perfect...

edit: yes this is my laundry room but its the bigest near empty room i have, its about 20-15, more then big enough for this project for now... and yes that should all be put away, so sue me, atlease there is not dirty underware in the pic lol...
