Here's a few crappy pictures of my newest acquisition before I put it in my pond (will live in there for the summer).

This one is a West African Lungfish (P. annectens ssp.). It is about 33" long (maybe longer) and is almost as thick as my leg. The inside of the cooler is 24" x 12" for reference.

Not very well at all since it's a WAL; African lungfishes in general tend to eat their tankmates sooner or later.

Thanks, man. I've been wanting to get another lungfish for a while now, so it wasn't very hard to resist getting this one when it popped up on my local Craigslist of all places!

The funny thing is that it's five years old or less, so it should grow some more if I keep it on a regular feeding schedule; it was only about 12" long according to the guy I got it from when he bought it two & a half years ago!
