the two flowerhorn i have are showing strange behavior so im guessing its a possibility that they will breed?

1. no aggression towards each other
2. circling around each other.
3. rubbing up on each other.
4 locked lips once.
5. female keeps raming the male.
6. males coloration is alot better then when it was alone. so is the female.

one thing that throws me off is tube isnt dropped nor its showing stress marks.

any input on this? i pulled it off before with other flowerhorns but was never there to see what happend. any opinons or advices will be appreciated. thanks

can you post a vid if possible? maby pics of both?

Ya a video would help a great deal.

Have any slate or anything smooth for eggs?

the male is about 5" and the female is about 7" or so. when i first put them in together they were going trying to kill each other and now they are barely attacking each other its been about a week now. i have a bare bottom and seems like the flowerhorns are looking for a place to lay eggs the male keeps trying to dig and the female is near the dish i left for them to breed alot often and rubs up against that.

i did breed flowerhorns before but i didnt get to see how they react before they lay eggs so i was curious. i saw a video on youtube and it was pretty similar to what mine were doing.
