If i had a spare 75, would this seem reasonable...

1x Oscar
1x Severum
1x Red Hump OR Braziliensis Eartheater

A bit overstocked i think but none of these have a ton of territorial aggression, at least the Sev and O usually dont. And the Eartheater would usually be out of the way, wouldnt it?

No.those are two of the most aggressive geo you can get.
Braziliensis are not typical geophagus and will probably be reclassified in the future.Mature males will get somewhere around the 12" mark and can become extremely aggressive. you may have more chance with the red hump but they can become nasty once they mature, although most reports of aggressive behaviour is aimed at their own kind. They are notorious for killing females during breeding attempts.
It may be worth a try with the red hump but be ready to move/divide if required.
Incidentally there are at least three species of red hump,I assume you mean steindachneri?

Actualy i meant the Tapajos... Ive read that males can live by themesleves, but small groups is preferable...

Red/Orange Head is the real bame i guess? Sorry.

But other than that, you think it could work?

To be honest I have never kept tapajos red heads before.I have however kept many similar geos. I have found in groups they are quite peaceful and just squabble amongst their selves. They can be a pain when kept as singles.
To be honest I think the tank is only big enough for the severum and the Oscar and maybe a couple catfish.

Ok. What kind of cats? Pictus and Cories get eaten, so what other SA cats are there? Synos, but they are African

I have found hoplo catfish normally get ignored if they are of a decent size.
Pimelodus blochii of 5"plus should also be ok.
There are lots of plecs that don't get too big that would be suitable.
Armoured catfish like the humbug should also be ok.
These are all south American and if you add them at a size too big to be preyed upon and give them shelter, they will do fine.

IMO a 75 is a good fit (not a great fit) for a single Oscar no tank mates. When he's fully grown @ 12"-14" he's going to fill up that tank and need all the room he can get.
To be honest your probably right.

I agree. 1x oscar for the 75. They grow super fast and will fill that tank up at 12"

Yea i know that the recomended size is 1 O in a 75... Ive kept them before, at 10".

The only thing is, i would want to see some interaction between fishes. The O i had was surprisingly boring by himself, so i thought that interaction might enhance personality. Although i know that a boring O isnt the norm.
