POSSIBLE DISEASE?

Water changes have been 75% every sunday.
My PH has been maintaned at 7.4-7.8
I have added the capful of marine salt
after every water changes, Totaling
1/2 cup (coffee cup) and its a 30 gallon,
directly after water changes.

I only ever checked the Ph and always added
salt every time, My temp never changed between
78-82 degrees.

The tank has always been cycled, I only ever changed
the packed media which was replacement cartridges.

Total water changes came out to 20 gallons every time
which was done with a 5 gallon bucket.

Over all I went a little more then 3 months without
really any change to my system.

I still maintain all of my other tanks, with this one
being the only tank affected. and my only african tank.

kind of a weird routine to be quite honest..

75% WEEKLY water change is rather substantial and not needed. now if it was 50% after an algae outbreak - that would be different.

I would recomend 25% WEEKLY water changes ~ 10 gallons

You quite honestly do not need the salt - as much as your using. Only if you are transporting fish or see them stressed... I suggest using a water conditioner (SEACHEM PRIME)

When you replace the packed filter cartage - is it white and sounds like there are rocks inside? Normally that is a carbon pack.

im not sure if its carbon inside the cartridges, but yes its like a double white screen with smaller rocks inside, ive thought they were just gravel the entire time,
I also keep very large catfish and a lot of large CA/SA cichlids, so
large water changes happen in all of my tanks, I change 75%
of every tank every sunday, including all fry.
But again this was the only tank to date, the only think i could think of was either internal or feeding the wrong food, Ive always used the if theyre still eating its going to be OK mind setting, which in this case every one of them ate all the way up until they died. Another thing that was very weird they all died within a 24 hour period
which i think is very curious. This is the first time anything like this has ever happened. Sure ive lost fish before, but its very rare for me to lose any fish in any of my tanks.
And when I have lost a fish before I know exactly what happened.
Its obviously to late to do anything but im very skeptical and I am worried to try this again until
I know whats wrong.
Since they have died I drained the water and Ive been keeping a breeding pair of convicts and many small Managuense babies.

Thank you everyone for you guys help.
Mitchell
