So I was doing a weekly water change today and decided to move some rocks and wood around. While doing this I notice a white substance on my lava rock and driftwood...anyone seen this before? Current stocking is 1 Oscar, 4 jack Dempsey, 1 pike and a common pleco.

Those are Nerite snail eggs. I got them everywhere as well.15501718407201535660800.jpg

Edit: Don't worry they can't hatch, have to be in salt water to hatch so they can't overwhelm your tank like some snails can.

Cool, so do they hatch on they’re own? Or do I need to do something for them. I have a puffer in a separate tank that could use them.

I did an edit don't know if you saw it. The Nerite snail eggs won't hatch in freshwater, that the good thing they can overwhelm your tank.

Jexnell Jexnell Covered it. Nerite eggs and they can’t hatch in freshwater. So at most you are just left with irritating hard eggs everywhere. Lol
