Possible FRT purchase??!!

Now I don't know what to do. Have a chance to get the turtle that I have looked for for a couple of years, just emailed a lady about a dog that I have been looking for for the same amount of time and to top it off, I just dropped 6k last week. Why does it always happen like this? Feast or famine, drought or monsoon.
I wish, with everything else we have going on, the 3000 gal tank in the last phase of planning and spending money like we got it, I might soon be the first homeless MFK. "Sorry Sir, couldn't pay the morgage this month, had to buy more monsters."
Agreed.You will probably get another chance to get that dog in the future,maybe not the turtle.

I have thought about it last night and all day. I can not in good conscience lie to get the turtle. I have 4 kids and if they lie to get something they want or for any reason, I jump on them like a howler monkey. If I were to lie to get something I wanted, what kind of example would I be setting.
I guess I'll just have to wait for another chance. I talked to my wife about any potential educational use for the FRT, she home schools and will being teaching my 3yr old about metamorphosis using catapiller to butterfly and tadpole to frog, but we really can't come up with a legit reason. Sucks
