Possible Future Pair?

Embed the vid for you and I've got to agree with Miguel's question are you sure the Festae is a male and the Lyonsi is a female? They are acting pair like but the Festae seems to have the coloration of a female Festae. So they maybe only going through the motions or you've gotten the sexes backwards and the Lyonsi is a male and the Festae a female. Though they both look female in my opinion, hopefully I'm wrong if your going for crossbreeding that is I wish you good luck. Though due to the rarity of Lyonsi in the wild and despite me being a hybrid fan, I'd prefer if you bred the Lyonsi to another Lyonsi.

Festae appears 2B female. The behavior she is exhibiting is what females do when male are courting them. Males do not act submissive when paired. They flex, dig, flare, and head shake rapidly. They can, on occassion, take on female coloring/markings. But they do not behave submissively.
I see no spangling either. These 2 are lesbians.
Females have been known to exhibit paired behavior when there's no dominant male present . 2 of my 4.5" festae behaved this way once. Dominant one tolerated the lesser so the lesser acted as if paired up.

That's 100% Testosterone to me! Looks to be exact same fish in video, barring identical! Very nice color and spangles!

Now that's a male. Can't see the spangles in the video. That Lyonsi is a real COUGAR now ain't she?
