Possible order mistake

So I placed an order for 25 Cardinal tetras through Rainforest Farms today. My original supplier was out of stock so I scrambled to find somewhere to order since I'm home all this week.

After doing more research, I've found this is apparently a horrible place mostly for discus, but for lots of other things.

Tom called me today and will have the fish here hopefully Wednesday. I called back to make sure my order went through and he said they'd be out tomorrow. All good so far.

Hopefully everything works out. I see so many horror stories from this guy. Hopefully my order being so simple will be right, but I'm mostly worried about getting live, healthy fish. These will definitely be quarantined.

I tried to cancel the order but he said since it was already in and was getting the fish out to be prepared for shipment, I couldn't cancel. Any one have good experience with this place?
 
Wow you gave him a lot of bad press. So if everything goes as it should I guess posting good press would be in order.

Definitely will. Like I said you read way more negative reviews for things than you do positive.

Just do a Google search though which I should have done......

Let's create a thread perpetuating another's disgruntled post from "were-ever-websight" and THEN ask if anyone has had a good experience? Nice.
"Live with a choice made without due diligence" is a concept lost these days methinks.

I admit I probably was wrong in creating the thread and just freaked out at all the reviews I've seen. Everyone deserves a fair chance. Feel free to close this thread if need be. I will post a review, either way it goes
 
Just provide an accurate review of the transaction when completed.

I'd like to think that I have reasonable expectations when doing business with small business owners. Unfortunately I've had more bad than good. So it's always great to hear the positive experiences...it gives me hope.
 
Adam no one is crucifying you. I personally understand your concerns. But if nothing negative happen and it is a positive experience then it should be posted and recognized

BTW just received my raspboras and Amano shrimp from Pet Solutions and I am more than impressed.
 
Well the guy didn't end up shipping the fish apparently. I got a label created notification but fedex said they do not have a package from the guy. He said they'd be delivered today, so I guess I'll be calling 1st thing this morning.
