its a nice aro but i wouldnt say its white and it has drop eye starting on both sides

to tell the truth if you think buy selling the fish you chould buy a house i would keep the day job

if you think it is a white aro how chould you even think about putting a crap fish like a blood parrot with it

okay i know it has drop eye. what silver doesnt? and i was thinking of putting crap fish like blood parrots because if my aro kills them i wouldnt care and they wouldnt do much harm if they were to attack anyways.

so what is going on with this fish?

any new pics/plans/updates/bids.....

SO LUCKY......

can't believe it as i see it.....

you are the luckiest man in fishkeeping right now, congratulations

i dont know about platinum, maybe you can call it that but mostly ive only heard about snow arowanas for very bluish white south american arowanas. platinums are usually named for asian gold x-backs who have platinum color on their scale rims or frames. if your fish is a silver, then most likely itll turn out to be a snow, not a platinum

Snow or platinum is just another word for a leucistic morph, this can be of any species.... Not just fish also used for reptiles.....

extremely rare... and i dont think asian aros are rare so much as they are simply illegal to have here. there are plenty of them raised in farms.
I don't usually like being an @$$ on here but THEY ARE CONSIDERED ENDANGERED IN THE WILD, OF COURSE THEY'RE RARE. That's like the stupidest thing I've ever read.... I personally think in order for these aro farms to sell babies they should have to release so many into the wild a year...

farmed animals are completely different to their wild counterparts. They've been selectively bred. Also there hasn't been any efforts to do a population count that i know of. This has been discussed many many times on MFK.

Spent an hour on this thread and you have heard this before but Congratulations my friend. Ill take that fish off your hands for one of my Oscars named "Oscar" that I have had for 6 years plus.
