I gave $40 dollars for him. And i a little dissopointed to find that he is not what i was expecting to recieve, but! i am happy to know that max size is only 18".. I have also seen 2 ft for a max size but im happy to hear! it will be much more managable when he gets mature =) As for the Rhaphiodon Vulpinis i know nothing other than a few sentences i read last night. Soooo I have alot of Q's... Like are they bred in captivity? and, can you sex them? for starters lol

No, they aren't bred in captivity, however there are some articles according that SOMEHOW only the Rhaphs are able to breed in captivity, with special methods such as large ponds + rain seasons, etc.
