possible pleco parasite??

My royal's belly is sunkin also. I was advised to use internal parasite meds. All I could get a hold of was jungle parasite clear. My tank is being treated right now.

do me the biggest favor and let me know how it turns out. im not getting alot of help from anyone. so if all goes well, ill give it a try myself.

The point of treatment is the fish has to ingest the med. Try Metronidazole or praziquantel. Crush the med and put in their food.
 
Just checked on my royal. I didn't put him up to the glass but his stomach looks bulging now. I just followed the instructions on the box.

Bulging as in full, or bulging as in bloated? Pix would be great.

^ agreed. I got my 4.5" gold nugget in 84degree water and it is fine. Had it since it was 2" I would say that 70-75 is too cold. I wouldnt go less then 77
