To me, it's a try and see situation. I've got a 5yr/old green sev that's about 3x that size and can be a nasty sucker. Luckily they're mouths are pretty small. LOL. He's been in with an oscar since they were tiny little things.
Good luck finding a pair. I have heard that females are hard to come by, at least with the original imports that came in.
I’m taking a gamble on them ,there were the only 2 that came in so we shall see .. if they aren’t no biggie still something different to have and where I live fry are almost impossible to sell anyways
From what I’ve been told females are rare and then on top of it difficult to sex- also be ready to manage aggression- these are way more aggressive to conspecifics then other severums- but good luck!
