Possible sick senegalus please help

Had them in the tank previously (before cichlid stones and before new tank mates) with the exact same heaters and have never had an issue. Seems odd all three would now have a issue with the heaters, when they didn't before. Though I could switch heaters and see if it happens again.
 
The one time my odoe but a bichir it was my Senegal, when they were smaller and the sen went up for air, it had a similar white look to the bite mark area, it makes me think of like a bruise for them. I don't think they're sick, are they still eating and acting normal?

They eat and act completely normal. I don't think it's from bites as theit tankmates really weren't big enough to inflict that kind of damage.
 
Thought I'd give you guys an update. The wounds seem to be shrinking after been moved to a separate tank. There are some black spots forming on the edges of the wounds. Is this possibly some form of a scab?
 
Sounds like things are better. Glad to hear.

Good to hear, agree with others, seems like they're getting better
