Maybe it's the fact they're so active, they use up a lot of oxygen. I just never had luck with them at higher temps. I had a group of them with discus and they started deteriorating maybe just a bad batch I don't know

Good info. That lip disease looks nasty, one more thing to look out for. So far so good but I will be vigilant.
