On a side note, the Zebra in my avatar was my fish. I lost him years ago. I had submitted the pic to Planetcatfish.com. I wish I could get another one but, they'e too damn expensive now.

That is horrible.. especially because they are expensive,sought after, rare and unbelievably beautiful..i hope you have alot of pictures.. yours was a great size too. at least looks to be in picture.sometimes there are no answers.. And we do not know how old some fish are when we get them..or what parasites are in them from the wild... :( how long did you get to enjoy him??
 
About 3 years. He, and I'm acutally guessing at the 'he' part, was about 2.5" long so I guess it was an adult. I think it will be a while before I get another one as I'm planning on changing my 65 gal to an african cichlid tank that is actually focusing on Synodontis cats. I've already got 3 little Petricolas, a 6" Featherfin, and a 8.5" Decorus.

that is nice.. i have various types of synodontis in mine too..love those guys also..looking forward to seeing your tank all done african.. let me know.. Liz:D

Looking forward to the pics. And karpomatic those are some nice pics, I love the last one with the dog and cat together, sorry to hear about the zebra, I'd have gone nuts.

I was at a fish auction last sunday, had to leave early and after I left a zebra pleco went up for auction and went for just $70:nilly:
