The pastel look was why I first took this fish.He has lost a lot orange but the white is almost translucent.He glows.I couldn't tell you his correct age as we didn't get him as a juvie.He is now around 10 1/2" and still growing.Definatley a character.I can't gravel clean without a net in front of my hand.The algae magnets are useless ,he smashes it off on the inside while you are using it.I am just hoping he will develop hump like yours and others I have seen around.It's coming but very slowly.

he is gorgeous.. they usually develope the hump when they have another devil around....or i should say that is when their hump really gets huge.. he is mighty nice just the way he is and he is big!!
