14in managuense, seperoth, with green sev in background....sorry bout flash
the flash sure is a pain in the ass. either i use it and pics come out clear but dont show the fishes true color or i dont use it and it comes out a bit blurred. that is a beutiful jag.

Beautiful fish, everyone! Here is my favorite guy, my 11" male Red Texas.
The last pic was taken today, he's starting to beef up.

Ha dammit you stole the show and you know it. Thanks!! I had a good run until that Massive beast popped up :D:D. I just can't get over your mana... Everytime I see it. It just makes me hope for the future that Mine will Reach that Body Mass. Mine is 11.5" and probably 4" deep but yours gotta be 14"+ and about 8" deep.
lol. Sorry to spoil your fun but my guy shouldn't stop you with your guy.I have always loved the colors and patterns on your beast and as with others have always enjoyed seeing pics of him:)
As for size, here he is with the Dovii who was measured at 12.5" six months before this pic was taken. Crap pic but you can get a real perspective of the Jags mass.:grinno:

bsixx and greenterra you both have awesome jags. my male jag is about 13-13.5 inches but hasnt complety lost the top black verticle bars. any idea why that maybe or should he still loose them in time? take a look and let me know what ya think
He will loose more as he gets older but I tend to agree with Balton. I would try a light substrate and see if that helps any?:)

I was going to post pics of mine when this thread just started, but I thought my fish were not old enough to model. I was right. Compared to all the beauties all of you have shown, my fish look like a deuce sinking in the toilet.
Love all the jags and rtms!

lol...This is the "your most prized cichlid thread", not the biggest or baddest cichlid thread. They don't have to be huge or old to be beautiful. Besides, you have sparked my curiosity now so please post up a pic:D
