My one and only pet out of 15 tanks and over 1k worth of gallons..

3 year old petsmart midas (clearly a hybrid) @ 13" in a 60gallon in my dining room.

I need to get some pics of him since I switched his diet from NLS to omega one.. I can't believe I ever thought NLS was "the best cichlid food."

i still cant get over that hump cam. i dont think i could make one of my fish have a hump like that with photoshop, let alone grow one for real.

holy smokes that hump is huge. ive never seen a hump that large except for flowerhorns. that is a beast.

His hump is even bigger now since he's been feeding on omega one. I used to not like it until I realized how crazy the flowerhorn guys go for "KOK" lol. He was my first fish. Nice true trimacs btw, that male is perfect.

bsixx and greenterra you both have awesome jags. my male jag is about 13-13.5 inches but hasnt complety lost the top black verticle bars. any idea why that maybe or should he still loose them in time? take a look and let me know what ya think

Thanks! I have a really aggressive male here - though thankfully for me, the female has a few hiding spots in the tank.

this thread should serve as a good thread for those always asking whats the most aggressive cichlids. most of these posted are and they can see what they look like and find the one they want and google more info on them. all we need is black nasty pics and umbee pics maybe a couple more. good work fellas keep the pics coming.
