This is maybe the coolest of my cats.

My old female Wallago leerii.
bought in 1991.

The wall she is crossing over is 31 cm (12") wide and 122cm (4') high and 549cm (18') long.

She is still going strong.

The arapaima in the left side of the picture is 152cm long and probably about 300cm behind the Wallago.

IMG_0221.JPG
The Phractocephalus h. crossing over the wall behind the Wallago might think it is my coolest cat.

I don't know if it's your coolest, since I don't know how your fish behave, but it is definately your most impressive! What a monster.

phone pictures somethingnat 001.JPGMy pride and joy, my Striped Raph. He comes out during lights on (when he isn't feeling lazy) to feed and has even come half way up the old tank he was in to steal a bloodworm out of my tetra's mouth. Got him 6 months ago at only 1 inch and now he is 3.5", they grow quicker than most fish I've had I don't care what anybody says :)

Nice male! He's ready to spawn, too! Look at all that yellow. Too bad they breed so rarely...

What, YOU KNOW HE IS A MALE!?!? How can you tell, I thought it wasn't possible? If anything I thought he was a female because his stomach looked full of eggs (I guess that's just fat then). I have been trying to figure it out since I got him, now I know I guess. I'm actually posting a video on youtube now about him so I'll put in a link to it so you can verify that for sure.

Only males turn orange and yellow. Females stay white or gray.
