Hey,

I want to take out all my rocks in order for me to really clean my sand bed. I'm probably gonna take out all my fish and try to take out all my inverts.

I would be happy to receive advice on how to position my live rocks....even better to see photos.

This has been the same rock structure for about 3 months. This pic is 3 months old lol.....I have fixed my background, no air bubbles. Also have lots more inverts (hermit crabs, snails and urchins).

Here is a pic of my rock formation now:

You really need to get some corraline growing in there, it would make it look wayy better

Yeah this was an old pic, I honestly don't know how to grow corraline algae.

Also I'm cleaning the sand bed because I'm currently in a fight with high nitrates. I should have went with a sump then the fluval fx5.

Also I would get some corals but I don't think 54 watts of marine bulb and 54 watts of regular fluorescent bulb would do it.

Ans the pic of the rocks looks great, I'm probably going to pile my rocks on the right side of the tank to make a look of a mountain. The left side would be all open space....

You could do some leathers, mushrooms, palys and or zooanthids and euphillia corals under that much light...

Rock looks good. I like open space. Too many people just do the big wall.

My most recent pic. Added a decent amount of zoos, a rhodactis, a random shroom, and some clove polyps since this one.

Nice your tank looks epic, btw does anyone know how to grow Coraline algae?

I probably need to get my nitrates under control first....

Coraline just sort of does its own thing, provided the conditions are right. I have it all over my glass >.>

You need to have proper levels of calcium and magnesium, and zero/undetectable levels of phosphates. Phosphates actually block coraline algaes ability to absorb magnesium.
