POST PICS OF YOUR DISCUS HERE!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I agree with cassharper. At the least maybe just get 2 more since they will establish a pecking order and this will distribute the amount of aggression any one discus will get. (maybe from the same place so they can sort of quarantine together as they are from the same source)

As for your choice of discus, I'd say they are very nice! Your blue turquoise looks outstanding. I also think it's a good thing you didn't start with a bunch of juveniles, which take alot more work to prevent them from stunting.

I believe it is most likely leucism. I'm reading a discus book about strains from Eastern breeders and the author distinguished the fact that what they considered as albino wasn't what Westerners considered as albino. It could just be that they are referring to the leucism trait as being albino.

Sledge, the cobalt and candy apple look really good, however, the white butterfly looks to be a little stunted.

I did notice the eyes when I got him home. He was at the bottom tank at the store and I could not get a good look. They sold him to me at a price I could not refuse. Slightly stunted but not too bad. So being new to Discus, how do I reverse a stunted Discus, or is it not possible?
