Post Pics of Your Hikes or Camping Trips

I am fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful places in California. People drive many hours to be able to camp in the National Park less than a mile from my home. When I was young, my family would have driven a long ways to be able to camp at a site not nearly as nice as what we get to see everyday.

These pictures are from a couple of trips to France Park in Logansport, Indiana. The shadows in the water pictures are paddle fish, taken from 50 to 100 ft rock cliffs.

Very cool. You are lucky. I am getting sick of the snow in Colorado, and I keep telling my wife I want to move to mountains somewhere that doesn't snow. What are the winters like where you live?

Sadly I can't really do any hiking where I live, almost every single square mile of land is developed and/or leveled.

It gets cold enough to sometimes have frost on the roof, and we've had maybe 7 days where there was a little ice on the windshield in the early morning. We're less than 10 miles from the coast, so a little snow is a freak event worthy of getting out the camera. We usually have a lot of rain, which makes this area so gorgeous. When it's not raining, it's golf time.:)
