how concerned should i be w/ the lima growing faster than the pearsi or my 2-3 inch v. argentea? i just dont want the little guys to be catfish bait in the future..

Looks good, I wouldn't trust them with anything that could easily fit in ther mouths, though I have been told that their stomachs aren't very big so I don't think it would be able to eat anything that is over 1/2 its size.
 
i think the pearsi should be fine if its a good eater, but i got 2 v. argenteas 2 months ago, one is double the size of when i got them the other has barley grown... i might have to reset up the 37 later for a growout tank if need be. i also have 2 yoyo loaches that i inherited already knowing they are on death row...
 
Lima are cool when they get big but I've had one for a few years and that thing is only a foot long. Its in a 210g eats well. I don't understand why its so small.

From what I've heard, it normally takes them 3+ years to get really big, Crisper said earlier that his took 3 years to get to 14-15". Also, I think 12" is pretty big, I wish mine were that size. :D:headbang2
