How long have you had the eel? What have you fed it and how have you fed it in the past? Foods soaked in garlic extract usually will help to get a fish eating. Try large krill soaked in garlic. That is how I started mine started. Is it starting to look thin yet?
Yes....it looks thin. I aquired it 6 weeks ago from a guy in Chicago. Has never eaten for me.... He said crab and shrimp. I've tried everything. Will get garlic tonight.
Believe me it's over 48in. I only know this cause I taped it in disbelief of the size when I got it home. I will have pics up as soon as I can get them dumped.
Yes....all eels are target fed. There's 2 volitans in my eel tank..the rest is eels.
Think it's possible the Zebra isn't eating due to intimidation? Like maybe a really thick 2'+ Fimbriated? I don't know what else it could be.....all other eels started eating the day after I got them. I would think if any eel should be intimidated it would be the foot long snowflake that eats like a horse....not the tank monster.
