peacock eels get to a max size of 12" but they slow down at 8". they are too small to eat feeders, they might eat fry though.

i really want to get a spiney eel, i might buy one in the next few weeks.

awe, how cute!!! I cant wait to get another tank for my oscar so I can start growing eels in their current one. Not sure what kind I'll do, either fire or maybe I'll try some morreys agin they are really fun to keep!!!

here are a couple of when he was about 19-20 in. He's right at the 23-24 mark currently.

He has got to be my all time favorite fish. What a personality!
