No, that is not my Malawi Trout. I have a pair 8" male & 6" female. I am still new to MFK & still in the process of adding pics to my album. The Trout are very cool & quite nasty Predators from Lake Malawi. Some of my favorite fish!!

So how large can a Fire Eel get? I read early in this thread that a Tire Track can reach 36"

36 the same size as a tire track eel.
