We usually have lots of rain. We're too near the coast for much frozen stuff, although last month we had a light dusting of snow...novel enough to get out the camera to record it. We had that "winter" look for a couple of hours

I sent the picture to people, "look, we had snow!" The temperate climate and heavy rain make the giant redwood trees in the nearby redwood forests grow even taller:) Our fir trees like the rain too:)

wow thats a beautiful picture too.. and i love when mother nature does something nice for beautiful trees.. i love trees the best..cannot wait to see my new planted trees from the fall bloom into the spring..varigated maple and golden rain tree and a curly willow and regular willow are all new ones i am anxious to see ;)

nice pic and beautiful sheperd..funny how the snow comes to an end where the tree line starts like a wave..those trees are so thick nothing gets down there.. :D
