It doesn't really help one of the users have it in their name... and people use it whenever someone get mad at him.

Anyway, don't hate the dogs; hate the redneck owners. My dog (Shiba Inu) is classifed as a "vicious breed" in some states in the U.S. and cities in Canada because people are dumb enough to abuse them.
